STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE MUFFINS

Soft strawberry muffins with a sweet cream cheese filling. Perfect for breakfast,
dessert, or a snack.

Ingredients

Muffin Batter

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries

Cream Cheese Filling

  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Place muffin liners in a muffin tray.
  3. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl whisk butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients.
  6. Fold chopped strawberries into the batter.
  7. Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  8. Fill muffin cups halfway with batter.
  9. Add a spoon of cream cheese filling.
  10. Cover with more batter.
  11. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden.
  12. Cool and serve.

Serving Idea

Serve warm with coffee, tea
